Payroll

All employers, whether limited liability, sole traders or partnerships who employ staff need to operate and keep Pay As You Earn (PAYE) Records. The complexity of these records has spiralled over the past few years.

P35, P11, P14, P9, P11(D), P46, P45, tax credits, attachment of earnings, SSP, SMP need we go on? We use the most up to date software to ensure your payroll records are kept fully and accurately on your behalf. Your staff receive computer printed payslips and you don't have to worry about ensuring the correct documents are prepared and filed on time.

Bookkeeping & Value Added Tax

Company law has always required a minimum level of accounting records to be kept, however, it may come as a surprise to most people that pre self assessment there were no officially set out standards for the books of sole traders and partnerships.

Self assessment changed all that and if adequate books of account are not maintained a penalty of up to £3,000 per annum can be issued by the Inland Revenue. Five years without "adequate" accounting records could equate to a fine of £15,000.

We have a number of systems we can employ to suit your budget to ensure your records are adequate for your business. We can even incorporate preparation of your Return of Value Added Tax within the system.
